Hornsea

Hornsea is a small town in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. Located on the northern coast of the Holderness peninsula, it's about 20 miles east of Hull and 25 miles north of York.

The area has a long history, with evidence of human activity dating back to the Iron Age. It is believed to have been the site of a major battle in 867 AD between the Anglo-Saxons and the Vikings. The Hornsea Mere, a large lake in the area, was formed by glacial action during the last Ice Age.
